Got this from Jim Forest, of the Orthodox Peace Fellowship. Allan Tibbels, a person with a disability, seeking to create community in an urban ghetto.
He has proven to be a man who has discovered the reality of the Gospel of Jesus Christ by his involvement with the poor, naked, and hungry, the sick and the prisoners. And the strangers.
“I was a stranger, and you welcomed me.” (Matthew 25)
He died on June 3, 2010.
