In Toronto there is a mission that runs a bakery which employs, among others, persons with disability, as well and persons who have been through difficulty and hardships, such as drug addiction. This is one of the Focus North America http://www.focusnorthamerica.org/ missions, and certainly a model for what the Orthodox Church could be doing in our cities in North America if we would prayerfully set our hearts and minds to it.
